If anyone cares, and I have as yet no real evidence that anyone has read this yet, but this little blurb on Common Dreams seems to be worth noting.

Swing-State Hell!

Thanks to my move, I have relocated from a strong Kerry state (Illinois) to a Swing State(Ohio). The ads here totally suck! The worst one is the Bush ad with the wolves. OH, yea, I am SOOO scared--if Kerry wins then the country will be swarming with terrorists.

But, these folks at least in this area of Ohio are falling for it all the way. My brother and I did a small survey of the girls in his office and most of them are Bushies big time! It seems curious---why are they buying into the LIES?????? Well, Bush does have an advantage that the whole "security" thing is an easy arguement to make. If Bush paints the picture of enemies and terrorists around every corner wanting nothing but to kill you and your children-well, then, they better damn well vote for Bush 'cuz he's gonna kill them terrorists!

Bottom line: if you can convince people to be in fear, you can convince them that you (and only you) are the only solution. I think Hitler did the same thing, and it worked!

Welcome to the new blog!

Well, this is the first post of this blog. This will be the place where I can allow a bit of escape from the insane right-wing politics that governs the Southwestern Ohio area. Hopefully I can make some kind of impression before the upcoming election.

Also, transcripts of the audio commentaries will be found here. As of now, this is a work in progress, so bear with me.
