Episode 101: Back with 'An Inconvenient Truth'

listen here

Last weekend we saw Al Gore's 'An Inconvenient Truth'-we discuss the film, and the phenomenon of Global Warming. Why does the government want it positioned as a debate-when there is nothing really to debate about?

In order to really follow along-you should see the film-and take your friends!

Plus-is Al Gore as bad and boring as everyone says? The answer...no! He's kind of a funny dude-who would be such a better president than the imbicile we have now.

Episode 99: Abu gives a sermon, and a bit about George Bush's press conference

listen here

Lots of religious stuff in the first part of the episode, as Abu Snookums tries to explain the trancendence of God. Also, a long explanation of why alcohol is forbidden and how that relates to our "western" idea of sexuality...looking back, it gets a bit preachy, but bear with us. Also, Abu Snookums debunks Descartes-this is quite heavy stuff.

And, to lighten things up at the end, we take a comedic shot at Bush for his latest gaffe at the recent press conference when he acted like an idiot with regard to the reporter with the sunglasses .

Episode 98: Fun with Jay Leno, Ann Coulter, and Adolph Hitler

listen here

After a bit making fun of what a wishy-washy wimp Jay Leno is for being such a soft-ball with that bitch Ann Coulter the other night, Uncle Dan introduces the new photo-blog which is soon to come that will give our listeners a bit of a visual reference to the W.C. here.

Also, Uncle Dan talks about movies, and wants to see the new Superman film.

And finally, some discussion relating to our radio show today that got less calls than last week, but turned out ok. This relates to how we need to dehumanize our enemies in order to wage war upon them...and the words to the Jr. ROTC chants that we learned in high school.

Episode 97: More radio show stuff, Atheism, and religion

listen here

Starting out a bit more on the WAIF show, and then we discussed the possible problem of SIRIUS radio signal travelling to other cars who didn't order it.

Abu Snookums then brought up Julia Sweeney and her book, "Letting Go of God", Atheism, and the rest of the episode was a long, interesting discussion of religion, and what helped convert Abu to Islam while listening to the Art Bell show.

Episode 96: Abu Snookum's radio show, Haunted places in the WC, and the Crusades

listen here

First of all, a review of the 2nd edition of US Muslims Today at WAIF. Some behind the scenes stuff about how we screwed up the headphones. Also, thanks to Jeff in Mason for giving us a call.

Also, revisiting the eastern part of the WC, and a more detailed explanation of the wonderful topography that can be found there. And, go to "Forgotten Ohio" to find out more about the old gun powder factory in Kings Mills.

On the occasion of Al-Zarqawi's death, we provide the larger picture. A lot of explanation on the Crusades, and how it looms large in both European, and Muslim history-and how we use the word. More "culture war" stuff too.

Episode 95: Reviewing the Da Vinci Code, gay marriage, and tons more

listen here

Well, it turns out that the movie "The Da Vinci Code" is an improvement on the book. We discuss why thaqt is the case, and the whole theory in general. We know that it matters to Christians, but what about Muslims?

It also leads into establishment of relgion, and gay marriage...and how any Constitutional amendment proves that we have an established relgion in this country.

Episode 94: Uncle Dan on Iraq, a tour of Warren County, and our WAIF show

listen here

First, Uncle Dan gives a bit of a geography lesson on Warren County...and it seems that the eastern half of the county is the better half. The 'Honkey Havens' have yet to invade there as of yet.

Our WAIF show went pretty well, but Uncle Dan didn't even hear the best part, because he had to share the headphones and couldn't hear the special guest over the phone. Hopefully our co-host Mahdi will join us at Radio WC soon, as he has a lot of insights as well. So, click on the link, and listen next Friday at Noon eastern time.

And finally, Dan had a few words to day about the recent Haditha business in Iraq with the soldiers shooting civilians back in November-and now there is another problem north of Baghdad in which the soldiers were "cleared" by the US military.
